Erin Condren Teacher Lesson Planner Review + Giveaway

I recently decided to splurge and get myself an Erin Condren Lesson Planner book. I have been wanting one since last year, but was hesitant to spend the $50. Throughout the past school year, I became alarmingly slack with writing out my plans. Towards the end of the year, my homemade planner was just blank pages. I knew that I needed to change something, so I decided that for this school year, I would finally buy myself the coveted planner. Here are some detailed pictures of the product, along with my thoughts about it!

Beautiful packaging - so excited to open this!
I know I will!
So many extra goodies! Free pens, free labels.. so much fun. I really love the customization on the cover, although my husband pointed out that my initials could stand for America's Most Wanted.
The cover page.. how could you NOT want to use this!
I love anything with a built in substitute page. I sometimes buy those little substitute folders from Scholars Choice, but those contain WAY too many details. This is perfect, short and sweet.

This is by far my favorite set of pages - several pages to keep track of students handing in things, grades, etc. I really think I'll use this as my grade book - I love something that is small, condensed and always at arms reach. It's perfect.

These are the lesson planning pages. They are full of space, color, and there's enough room to fill in 7 subjects. They are just begging to be filled in! Tilly loved them too.

There are a few pages with cute little stickers, for things like staff meetings, duties, computer lab, etc. I'll be honest, I'm not too sure how often I will remember to use these.

.
These are the back pages - a folder to keep information, a zip pouch to keep all my freebies, and a yearly calendar for 2012 and 2013

I'm sure it's really easy to tell, but I absolutely adore this planner. It's so beautiful, so complete, and is something I will really enjoy pulling out every day. I am so happy to have finally shelled out the money!

Now, I couldn't do a review like this and not have a giveaway. After making my purchase, I asked the people at Erin Condren if they would be willing to sponsor a giveaway. They graciously offered to give a $25 gift code to one of my lucky readers, which can be used towards anything in the shop! Here's what you need to do to enter:

  9. I like the acrylic blocks , the desk calendar & love the colorful pens!!! (I am an ART teacher after all!) My job last year was cut and I was"picked up" by another school. The planner would be an AMAZING help at my new elementary school. I had to completely start over, since the last 7 years I taught at the secondary level. It would be a nice start to the year & help me be organized! I would also be a walking advertisement for Erin at my school. I hope you will consider me - after last year anything positive would be GREATLY appreciated! I also had surgery last month & have no money to buy a new lp book or much of anything for school...
besides praying I have my fingers & toes crossed!
