Droopy poppies for Remembrance Day - grade 4/5

I loooooove these droopy poppies that the grade 4/5 class worked on. They were a project for the kids who had finished their previous work, so unfortunately, not everyone had the chance to do them.

These were surprisingly simple, and only took about 15 minutes.

Basically, student drew the poppies (following a lesson on the board) in pencil, and then traced them out in Sharpie. They then used red liquid watercolor (LOVE this) to paint in the flowers, and regular black watercolor to add detail.

These look SO nice up in the gym!
