I LOVE these!!
This past week, I made Day of the Dead skulls with my class. They were given a blank skull, and told about the celebration of Day of the Dead. We talked about how to decorate the skulls (organic images, curved lines, flowers, etc.) and about the symmetry in the skull.
When they were done drawing in the skull, they painted them in with watercolors, leaving the backround white. After, they cut out the skull and pasted it to black and white scrapbooking paper.
When they were finished with this, they added the adornments: glitter glue, jewels, and tiny fake flowers.
The results were stunning!!
Where did you find that skull?
ReplyDeleteI don't find one that is good as well.
