Martha Stewart Knit and Weave Loom Kit

I am finished my blanket!! I worked on this darn blanket since Boxing Day - 20 different squares, each one taking around 2 hours. But now it's finally done, and I'm so proud!

The Martha Stewart Knit and Weave Loom Kit is one of the best crafting kits I've ever been given. There's so much potential to make so many other projects. It's definitely worth checking out!

  1. I got my Martha Stewart Loom Kit. I really do like mine, except for one thing. The knit tool smells so bad I can't use it. Too bad too because I like the grip. Does your tool handle have a bad odor?

  2. Would you mind sharing your pattern and what yarns you used? I just love this blanket. I just recently got the Martha Stewart Knit and Loom Kit and don't know what project to start with and then I saw this blanket. Thanks!

    2. Do you remember how many strands you used on your warp? It looks like four in the pictures but I just wanted to make sure before I get started. Thanks!

    3. I made the square the biggest size, and I'm pretty sure I followed the directions EXACTLY as the book said - the warp ends up having 4 strands per square. Let me know if you need more help!

    1. I cross stitched it into the woven square while it was still on the loom (So that the squares were still pulled apart.) It was very simple! :)

    2. Perfect thanky ou, I assume its just an
X" stitch? Also, you said you followed the pattern in the book exactly? Which pattern? do you have the page number? and are you referring to the book that came with the MS loom? I am going to attempt to make this as a wedding gift! I have not used the weave method yet on my loom so im kind of scared!
I think you are holding 2 strands of yarn when you are weaving? but you said 4 so im confused on that as well. Im sorry for all the questions.. Thanks for any help

  7. I just purchased this loom kit and I'm so excited to make this blanket. Do you have step by step instructions on how to create the heart?

  8. Do you have instructions possibly a video or picture tutorial on how to stitch the squares together to created the blanket ? I've seen some people just single crochet the edges together and some just take yarn and whip stitch the ends but those seem to create a raised stitched look. I want the square to be together seamlessly like if they were just glue together like your blanket looks.
