Giveaway - Seven Year Pen

This Christmas, one of my students gave me a Seven Year Pen. If you haven’t used one of these yet, you must. This pen is so smooth, and it really has changed how I feel about marking and grading. Now I look forward to writing comments on rubrics! I swear, everyone needs one of these pens.

I had ordered myself some additional pens online, but I found out today that they sell them at the Chapters near my house. While I was there getting myself a new pen, I decided it would be a good time to run a giveaway. This upcoming Thursday, I will draw one person to win a Seven Year Pen! Keep in mind; I’m not only giving away a pen. I am giving you seven years of fun. It’s pretty hard to put a price on that (but more accurately, the price would be around $10.)

That's the pen I chose for the giveaway. There are a few ways to enter. Start by following my blog (so that I will know how to contact you!) and then:

  • For one entry: In a comment, post a link to an online art lesson/picture/website/resource that you love! If you aren’t into art lessons, just post a comment to say hello.

  • For a second entry: Post a link to this giveaway on your blog, twitter, facebook, etc., then come back and post a link.
If you aren’t a follower, just make sure you leave some kind of way to contact you. This giveaway is open to anyone in Canada and the United States. It will run from now until Thursday at 8:00pm, when I will randomly select a winner using a random number generator. The winner will be contacted, and I will mail you your incredible Seven Year Pen shortly thereafter!

  1. Hi! I just started following your blog last week. I love a good pen. I always get in trouble for stealing my husband's pens. Here is a good Art Ed website, Artful Artsy Amy: http://artfulartsyamy.blogspot.com/

I blog over at Adventures of an Art Teacher, http://artteacheradventures.blogspot.com/

  2. Hi. I am pretty new to following your blog. I teach Kindergarten, and this year have been using several art teacher blogs to help beef up my art program. Here is one idea I came up with that my class really enjoys. We do it in the fall when we are learning about shapes in math. It probably works best in warm sunny places, such as Arizona where I teach. My class thinks it is really cool, as do a lot of the older students at school.

  3. Hi, I just found you this morning. I'm loving your blog. Another new blog I discovered is Princess Antypants. The lesson I'm sharing is from there. I just love her pastel seaturtle lesson. I plan to do something similar as soon as I get the art for my Square 1 fundraiser completed. http://princessartypants.blogspot.com/2012/02/pastel-sea-turtles.html

  8. I've never heard of these. Should they really last 7 years? I doodle so much I use up pens really really fast.

I already follow you. I'd like to share the amazing blog/website of Dan the Monster Man, creator of the most amazing papier-mache dragons and so much more. Here's his blog address: http://papermacheblog.com/ It's not a lesson or a teaching resource so much, but just proof that the most incredible stuff can be done with papier-mache.
