Grade 1 Foxes!

This is a cute little project I did back in September, with the grade 1 class. Using a lesson I saw on Art Projects for Kids, students drew cute little foxes, and colored them in using oil pastels. This was a great beginning of the year lesson, as it helped me to gauge how well they could follow instructions, and also pumped the kids full of confidence in the art room!

  2. Very cute! Could be a great lesson on complementary colors, with the vivid sky and bright orange foxes!

  3. These are great! I'm hoping to do these in November to compliment my grade one class' unit on nocturnal animals.

    Also LOVE the sock monkies!!!
